NEW! Live in portugal Cat. No. JRS1082CD The classical guitar selections of this CD were played at an evening concert in the ancient 13th century Cathedral of Èvora, located in the Alentejo Province of Portugal on July 5th 2004. As Maestro Del Forno put it himself, “The natural acoustics within the cathedral amplified the notes of the guitar from the ancient vaultings. It created an ethereal and spiritual atmosphere I have rarely witnessed during any of my concerts anywhere around the world. The notes resounded through the cathedral as though they were descending from space itself.”

Del Forno Plays Del Forno Cat. No. JRS1081CD As a modern day virtuoso, composer and performer, Anton Del Forno is truly in a class by himself. This album is an extremely rare and ambitious effort by a classical musician composing and recording his own works. Imagine hearing a recorded performance of Chopin playing his own Mazurkas or Paganini playing his own Caprices. Not since Austin Barrios Mangoré has a performer contributed such exquisite melodies to the genre he loves and dedicated his life to the cultivation and appreciation of artistic excellence. The International Musician Magazine wrote, ' As Del Forno's musical legacy is past down and performed by future generations, he is continuing the tradition set fort by his predecessors namely Sor, Guilliai, Villa-Lobos, Paganini Tarrega and Carcassi.' (Sheet music available in the Del Forno store.)
